III-VII-I

about

Any music major who has done figured bass and Roman numeral analysis knows the meaning of III-VII-I. Dr. Johnson would probably admonish me for writing it like that. On a music theoretical basis is nothing more than an embellishment of the tonic. I6-V6-I is a weak harmonic progression compare to say, ii-V-I. But III-VII-I in the bass sounds cuter. So, I used it.

PATCH NOTES:
LOPAG. I love low-pass gates! It a voltage-controlled amplifier and low-pass gate all in one. I don't use drum machines, I patch my own drum sounds via low-pass gates. The piece starts with drums controlled by a sample-and-hold module on the low-pass gate.

Other than that I don't remember much about this patch.
